Semi-Automatic Cable Coiling and Twist Tying Machine for 15–40 mm Bundles WM-4829
Our WM-4829 winds prepared cable lengths and twist-ties bundles of Φ15–40 mm with 100–190 mm ties. The operator loads the winding posts and transfers the coil to the tying head; adjustable winding speed and turn count suit recurring packing jobs. Specified output is 600–800 pcs/h, depending on cable length.

Key features
- Replace repeated hand winding with adjustable winding speed and turn count while keeping the operator in control of loading and coil transfer.
- Prepare tied coils at one bench — the winding disc and adjacent tying head keep the two packing steps within reach.
- Match the tie to the bundle with adjustable tie length and twist turns, using plastic-coated iron-core tie material.
- See your own packing result before ordering: we wind and tie your cable samples and send a video showing the process and finished coils.
- We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual.
What it processes
- Packing prepared power cords and adapter leads into tied coils
- Repeated coiling and twist tying of data and signal cables
- Operator-paced packing benches handling bundles within Φ15–40 mm
Our WM-4829 combines a slotted winding disc with projecting posts, an adjacent twist-tying head and a top-mounted tie reel. The operator stays involved: load the cable, wind it, transfer the coil and present it for tying. The demonstration follows that sequence through to the finished coil, rather than showing only an empty machine cycling.
The tying range describes the gathered bundle at the tie, not the outside diameter of one wire. Cable stiffness, connectors and the desired coil shape matter when setting the posts and winding turns. We check those details on your actual cable instead of choosing a setup from cable diameter alone.
Send your cable length and diameter, connector details, desired coil dimensions and daily packing quantity, plus the twist tie you currently use. We run samples, check the finished tie and send a video with the observed cycle time before you order.

WM-4829 — common questions
Does Φ15–40 mm mean the diameter of one cable?
No. It is the bundle diameter at the tying position, not the diameter of an individual cable. Send your cable diameter, length and required coil shape so we can check the winding setup and finished bundle.
Which steps does the operator perform?
The operator loads the cable onto the winding posts, removes the wound coil and presents it to the tying head. The video shows this hand transfer and a finished blue coil secured with a black twist tie. This is a semi-automatic station, not a hands-free coiling line.
Does it measure and cut cable from a reel?
It is for winding and tying prepared cable lengths. For an integrated measuring, cutting, figure-8 coiling and tying workflow, see our WM-4808 for cable OD 3–12 mm.
Which tie material is required?
Use plastic-coated iron-core twist tie, 1–3 mm wide and 1 mm thick, with a tie length of 100–190 mm. Twist turns are adjustable; the recommended setting is 2–5. We test your existing tie stock with your cable before confirming the setup.
Is 600–800 pieces per hour guaranteed for every cable?
No. The specified output depends on cable length. Winding turns, cable handling and manual transfer also affect the complete cycle. We time the process with your samples and report the result before ordering.
What if our bundle is larger than 40 mm?
Our WM-4824 covers 40–80 mm bundles with 200–300 mm ties. Send a tied or untied sample so we can confirm the appropriate head and tie length.
How do we order wear parts?
Every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from. We identify the tying-head and feed-path wear parts for your machine configuration.
