The WM-2106A strips coaxial cable from 0.81 to 7 mm outer diameter in up to 9 programmable layers — jacket, braid, foil and dielectric each get their own cutting depth, set in 0.01 mm steps, so the end comes off the machine as a stepped, connector-ready termination. Maximum stripping length is 47 mm, and the 24 kg benchtop body runs on 110 V or 220 V. Typical work: RG174, RG178 and RG316 jumpers, 1.13/1.37 mm micro-coax pigtails and RG58 assemblies.

Suited for: fine braided coax from Ø0.81 to Ø7 mm — micro-coax pigtails, RG174/RG178/RG316 jumpers and RG58 assemblies — where the connector needs a clean stepped end: core, dielectric and braid each exposed to its own length, up to 47 mm total. Not suited for: cable above Ø7 mm, strip lengths beyond 47 mm, or cutting cable to length — it strips prepared ends only. For larger diameters move up to the WM-2208 rotary blade stripping machine (Ø1.5–18 mm, 90 mm strip); the rest of the lineup is under coaxial cable processing.

WM-2106A — common questions

How many layers can the WM-2106A strip in one cycle?

Up to 9. Each layer is programmed with its own cutting depth (0.01 mm steps) and strip length, so a typical coax program exposes the center conductor, dielectric and braid as a stepped end in a single semi-automatic cycle. The stepped brown RG-cable ends in the photo gallery came straight off this machine.

Is the touch screen in English?

Yes — the machine we ship runs the English interface shown in the gallery photo, with start/stop, layer count and piece counter on one screen. Program numbers are recalled the same way regardless of language.

What if my cable is thicker than 7 mm or needs a longer strip?

Then this is the wrong machine — its limits are 7 mm diameter and 47 mm strip length. Its bigger brother, the WM-2208, takes 1.5–18 mm cable with strip lengths up to 90 mm and stores 99 programs. Tell us your cable OD and connector, and we will point you at the right model.
