Rotary Blade Coaxial Cable Stripping Machine for 1.5–18 mm Cable with Touch Screen WM-2208

CE Certified HS Code 8463.90 Ø1.5–18 mm 400–800 pcs/h

The WM-2208 strips coaxial, corrugated-pipe and new-energy cable from 1.5 to 18 mm diameter in up to 9 programmable layers, with stripping lengths from 0 to 90 mm set in 0.01 mm steps on the touch screen. A 4-piece tungsten-steel rotary blade driven by motor and ball screw does the cutting, the controller stores 99 cable programs, and throughput runs 400–800 pieces per hour depending on the cable.

Key features

  • 99 stored programs — switching from RG58 jumpers to a corrugated-jacket run means recalling a program number on the touch screen, not re-adjusting the machine
  • 4-piece tungsten-steel rotary blade closes around the cable and spirals through the layer, which is what lets it open corrugated pipe jackets cleanly
  • Motor and ball-screw drive positions every cut in 0.01 mm length and depth increments — braid stays intact under the jacket cut
  • One machine covers RF coax, corrugated-pipe cable and shielded new-energy cable up to 18 mm, so it earns its bench space in mixed-cable shops

What it processes

  • Braided coax from RG58/RG59/RG6 up to RG213 and LMR-class trunk within Ø1.5–18 mm
  • Corrugated-pipe jacketed cable and shielded new-energy (EV) cable ends
  • Antenna, telecom and EV wiring shops running batch lots at 400–800 ends per hour

Suited for: batch stripping of braided coax, corrugated-pipe cable and shielded new-energy cable from Ø1.5 to Ø18 mm — up to 9 layers per end, strip lengths to 90 mm, with 99 programs so mixed-cable shops change over in seconds. Not suited for: micro-coax below Ø1.5 mm — that is the WM-2106A multi-layer stripper (Ø0.81–7 mm) — and it does not cut cable to length. Thicker than Ø18 mm? The WM-2320 carries the same rotary-blade principle up to Ø23 mm.

The blue stepped-end samples in the gallery show its strip quality. Send 2–3 meters of your own cable and we run it on this machine on camera — you see your cable stripped before you pay for the machine.

WM-2208 — common questions

How long does changing to a different cable type take?

If the cable has run before, changeover is recalling one of the 99 stored programs on the touch screen and stripping a trial piece to confirm — there is no blade cassette to swap anywhere in the 1.5–18 mm range. A brand-new cable takes longer the first time, because you set each layer's depth in 0.01 mm steps and verify under magnification; after that it is stored as a program like the rest.

Can it strip corrugated pipe cable?

Yes — corrugated pipe cable is in its specified cable list alongside coax and new-energy cable. The rotary blade spirals through the corrugated jacket instead of making a single ring cut, which is what keeps the cut edge clean on a ribbed surface.

Is the interface available in English?

Yes. The display is specified as a Chinese-English touch screen — you switch the language in the settings, and the gallery photo shows the English screen with start/stop, program number and piece counter.
