Wire Cutting, Double-End Crimping and Protective Sleeve Inserting Machine, 0.3–6 mm² WM-384
The WM-384 cuts wire to length, strips, crimps and slides a protective insulation sleeve over the terminal — on one end or both, selected per recipe. It covers 0.3 to 6 mm² wire, cut lengths from 40 to 9,999 mm in 0.1 mm steps, stripping from 1 to 15 mm and a crimping press adjustable from 2.0 to 4.0 tons that takes universal OTP applicators. Air-pressure, wire, sheath and crimped-terminal detection guard every cycle, with crimp-force monitoring and vision inspection available as options, at 1,200–2,000 pieces per hour.

Key features
- Crimping and sleeve insertion happen in the same automated pass — no separate hand-sleeving bench after the crimping machine
- One recipe switch runs single-end or double-end work, so short jumpers and sleeved-both-ends leads share one machine
- Universal OTP applicator mount reuses the crimping dies you already own, with press force adjustable from 2.0 to 4.0 tons
- Every cycle is checked for air pressure, wire, sheath and crimped terminal, and the deck accepts optional crimp-force and vision modules for audited lines
What it processes
- Appliance and HVAC leads where the crimp joint ships covered by an insulation sleeve on one or both ends
- Automotive and control-cabinet jumpers in 0.3–6 mm² cut from 40 to 9,999 mm
- Factories consolidating cut-strip-crimp plus manual sleeving into one operator station
Suited for: leads that must ship with the crimp joint insulated — sleeve over the terminal on one or both ends, wire from 0.3 to 6 mm², lengths 40 to 9,999 mm set in 0.1 mm steps. Not suited for: waterproof rubber seals or connector housings — for seal work, pick the WM-377 double-end wire seal crimping machine, which seats a rubber seal under every crimp on AWG 28–16 wire; housing insertion belongs to the insertion models among the terminal crimping machines.
Send 2–3 meters of your actual wire plus your terminals and sleeves, and we run your exact lead on this machine on video — crimp, sleeve position and length — before you commit.

WM-384 — common questions
Does it insert the sleeve before or after crimping?
The sleeve is fed onto the wire and positioned over the joint as part of the crimping sequence, so the finished lead leaves the machine with the terminal already covered. You choose per program whether one end, both ends or neither gets a sleeve.
Will my existing crimping applicators fit?
The press takes universal OTP-pattern applicators with a 30 mm stroke (40 mm stroke available), and crimping force adjusts from 2.0 to 4.0 tons. In most cases the die sets you run on stand-alone presses transfer directly — send us your applicator drawing and we confirm before shipment.
Can it insert rubber waterproof seals or connector housings?
No — it inserts insulation sleeves over crimped terminals, not wire seals or housings. Seal-insertion and housing-insertion models are listed separately in the terminal crimping machines category.
