What does semi-automatic mean on this machine?
Heating and airflow run continuously under the temperature controller — the operator only presents the joint to the air outlet, watches the tube seat, and moves to the next piece. There is no trigger to hold and no gun to pick up and put down, which is where the cycle time is saved.
Which air outlet shape should I order?
The curved Ø26 mm round mouth fitted as standard suits most cable-end and splice work. Straight round, extended plum-shaped and U-shaped mouths are optional — tell us the joint geometry and tube sizes you shrink most, and we advise which outlets to include; more can be added later.
What is it not built for?
Large diameters and long runs — the air stream comes from a Ø26 mm mouth, so it is meant for cable ends, splices and marker sleeves rather than shrinking metre-long sheathing or thick bundles.
