Semi-Automatic Cable Coil Twist Tie Binding Machine WM-4804
The WM-4804 is a benchtop semi-automatic twist tie machine: hold a coiled cable against the tying mouth and it wraps, twists and cuts an encased-iron-core PE tie around bundles from 5 to 35 mm in diameter. Twist count is adjustable (2–6 turns suggested) and it ties both round O-shape coils and figure-8 hanks. At 20 kg, 440 × 400 × 360 mm and 80 W on AC 220 V/110 V, it sits on an ordinary packing bench and needs no compressed air.

Key features
- Hands-on-cable, hands-off-machine — present the bundle to the tying mouth and the wrap, twist and cut cycle runs by itself, no pedal to time
- Tie length and number of twist turns are set on the machine, with 2–6 turns suggested per bundle
- Ties round O-shape coils and figure-8 hanks alike, so one bench unit covers both packing styles
- Reel-fed PE twist tie with encased iron core loads on the top spool holder — the gold ribbon seen in the photos
- 20 kg benchtop footprint, 80 W draw, no air supply — plugs into a standard outlet next to the coiling station
What it processes
- Bundling coiled USB cables, AC power cords, DC power cords and earphone leads before bagging
- End-of-line tying of hand-wound or machine-wound cable hanks, bundle diameter 5–35 mm
- Packing benches that switch between round coils and figure-8 hanks through the day
Suited for: operator-paced tying of pre-coiled cables — USB leads, AC/DC power cords, earphone cables — in O shape or figure-8, bundle diameter 5–35 mm. Not suited for: hands-free round coiling plus tying at line rates — that is the WM-4800 automatic coiling and double-tie machine (wire or tube up to Ø10 mm, up to 1,200 pcs/h); nor measuring and cutting raw cable from a reel before coiling — use the WM-4808 automatic cutting, figure-8 coiling and tying machine (cable Ø3–12 mm, lengths 3–10 m).
The economics of this machine are about the operator’s second hand. On a manual bench one hand holds the coil while the other fights the twist tie; here the coil goes to the tying mouth, the cycle fires on its own, and the operator’s rhythm — not tie handling — sets the pace. That is why it earns its place between fully manual tying and the automatic stations: no compressed air, no fixed cycle to feed, and a 20 kg body that moves to wherever the coiling happens.
Send two or three finished coils with your inquiry rather than only a cable datasheet. Bundle build-up, jacket stiffness and the tie turns you specify all affect how tight the finished tie sits, so we run your actual coils on the machine and send the video before you commit.

WM-4804 — common questions
Is the WM-4804 a coil winding machine or a tying machine?
It is the tying half of the job. The operator or an upstream winder forms the coil; the WM-4804 then applies the twist tie automatically the moment the bundle is presented to the tying mouth. If you need winding and tying combined in one automatic station, look at the WM-4800 for round coils or the WM-4808 for measured, cut and figure-8 coiled cable.
What tie material does it use?
Reel-fed twist tie with an encased iron core and PE outer material. The reel mounts on the spool holder above the machine, and tie length plus twist count (2–6 turns suggested) are set on the machine. Send your preferred tie sample or color with the inquiry and we run it in the trial.
What bundle sizes can it tie?
The stated binding diameter is 5 to 35 mm across the bundle, in O shape or 8 shape. Send two or three of your finished coils — we tie them on the actual machine and send you the video before you order.
