Coaxial cable strip diagram generator
Enter the three cutback dimensions from your connector drawing to see the finished strip profile. Use the same conductor tip as zero for all three lengths. Print the profile or save it as a PDF for a sample trial.

Axial distances are scaled to your inputs. Layer thicknesses are schematic. The tip is at the right.

Confirm cutback tolerances, braid foldback and special shield handling against the connector drawing. Record dimensions for each end separately when the connector requirements differ.
Prepare a coax stripping sample
Use the exact cable and connector part numbers to find the drawing. Cable family names such as RG58, RG174 and RG316 help identify the material. The connector drawing specifies where each cut belongs. See Amphenol RF connector assembly instructions for examples of connector-specific preparation.
For layered coax and shielded cable, review our WM-2208 rotary coaxial cable stripper and coaxial cable processing machines. Save your trial sheet and attach it to your quote request with the cable sample details.
