Our WM-9156 supplies a single loose wire coil to a downstream cutting or stripping machine. A powered tray, central cone and upper wire guide provide a compact payout arrangement with forward/reverse rotation and closed-loop feed sensing. It carries up to 15 kg, with a 350 mm inner-diameter plate and a 390 × 390 mm footprint. We check coil fit and start-stop response with your actual wire.

When incoming wire snags or a full coil resists being pulled, a cutting machine can spend more time waiting for material than making parts. Our WM-9156 automatic wire prefeeder gives the coil its own powered supply step, with sensing that responds to downstream demand.
The compact tray-and-cone arrangement suits loose coils that fit around the center support. Coil weight alone does not establish compatibility: we also check the center opening, outside diameter, coil height and the way the insulation passes through the guide. The optional wire baffle is quoted separately when the application needs it.

WM-9156 — common questions
Will this help if our cutter struggles to pull from a full coil?
It is designed to supply wire ahead of the cutter, so its feed rollers do not have to unwind the coil unaided. We test the complete feed path with your coil weight, wire stiffness and start-stop cycle; pre-feeding does not replace correct cutter settings or a suitable wire guide.
Does it need an electrical control cable to our cutting machine?
The closed-loop feed control operates without a signal connection to the downstream machine. Electrical power is still required. Send the cutter model, desired feed rate and cycle pattern so we can demonstrate how supply follows demand.
Is 350 mm the maximum wire coil diameter?
350 mm is the specified inner diameter of the feeder plate, and 380 mm is its outside diameter. These are tray dimensions. We check your coil outside diameter, center opening and height against the cone and guide arrangement before confirming fit.
Does the 7 mm guide opening mean it can process 7 mm cable?
7 mm is the standard guide opening shown in the specification illustration. It is not a guaranteed cable diameter rating. Clearance, bend stiffness and insulation friction must be checked together with the actual wire.
Can it feed flat parallel wire?
This configuration excludes flat parallel wire. For that material, see our WM-9332 reel and bare-coil prefeeder; we check the coil mounting and guide path against your sample.
What do the wire-coil photographs show?
They show incoming material and a loaded threading arrangement. The WM-9156 pays out wire; it does not cut, strip or wind a finished coil. For finished wire preparation, see our cutting and stripping machines.
How fast will it feed our wire?
The matched line speed is confirmed on the quote after we review your wire and downstream cycle. We demonstrate repeated short feeds and longer pulls with your material so you can assess response at the intended working rate.
Is the shipping weight 9 kg or 18 kg?
The datasheet labels 9 kg as G.W., while the packing specification lists 18 kg gross. Confirm before ordering. We put the confirmed packed weight and dimensions on the quote for freight planning.
How does it differ from WM-9332?
WM-9156 uses a horizontal tray and central cone for a loose coil up to 15 kg. Our WM-9332 mounts 200–300 mm reels upright on a horizontal shaft between flanges. We choose the mounting arrangement around how your wire arrives.
