Single-Sided Conveyor Heat Shrink Oven, 630 × 240 × 80 mm WM-686
Our WM-686 carries wire harnesses with pre-positioned heat shrink sleeves through a 630 × 240 × 80 mm heated passage on a heat-resistant PTFE mesh belt. The machine uses far-infrared heating with single-sided coverage and a 0–260 °C setting range. Conveyor speed adjusts over 0–6 m/min with a listed 10 kg load. We test the sleeve and complete assembly to establish the temperature and residence time.

| Electrical configuration | We configure the machine’s electrical supply for your installation before shipment. Your quote confirms the voltage, phase, frequency, current and the power cord with plug or industrial connection for your site. Common site supplies are 120 V, 60 Hz with grounded Type B outlets in the US and Canada, with 208 V or 240 V also found at industrial sites. The UK and Ireland use 230 V, 50 Hz with Type G. Australia and New Zealand use nominal 230 V, 50 Hz with Type I, and some Australian sites list 240 V. Three-phase installations in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand commonly use 400 V at 50 Hz, with 415 V at some Australian sites. |

Key features
- Use the 630 × 240 × 80 mm heated passage to select by the full part clearance, including connectors and fitted sleeves.
- Match heating exposure to the sleeve by adjusting conveyor speed over 0–6 m/min and recording the approved setup.
- Carry work on the heat-resistant PTFE mesh belt with a listed 10 kg load; we confirm the loading pattern with the actual assembly.
- We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual.
- For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
What it processes
- Batch heat shrinking of sleeves already positioned on harnesses
- Heating terminal insulation and cable-joint sleeves in an assembly line
- Conveyor heating trials for suitable small electrical assemblies
The WM-686 matches a conveyor heating process to prepared sleeved assemblies. Heating space, loading pattern and residence time are selected together so the sleeve can recover while the surrounding assembly is checked.
This build uses a aluminum-profile frame. Send the line layout and the full workpiece dimensions so we can confirm the conveyor arrangement and installation space.
For an approval trial, send the complete assembly with the sleeve positioned. We film the heating pass and show the finished recovery before ordering. For a WM-686 quote, share the sleeve size and the approximate dimensions of the part it covers. We'll check which configuration fits your assembly.

Choose and troubleshoot this process
- Heat Shrink Defects: Causes and Corrective ActionsTroubleshoot incomplete recovery, wrinkles, splits, scorching, sleeve movement, trapped air, uneven adhesive flow and heat damage.
- How to Choose Heat Shrink Processing EquipmentChoose heat shrink equipment by sleeve material, recovered dimensions, adhesive requirement, harness geometry, heating method, takt time and validation plan.
WM-686 — common questions
How do we select the working space?
The heated passage is 630 × 240 × 80 mm. The complete part, fixtures and sleeves must fit the confirmed loading pattern.
How do we set temperature and conveyor speed?
We run the actual sleeve on the complete assembly and adjust heating and belt speed to verify sleeve recovery and the surrounding insulation. The approved values and loading arrangement are recorded for the job.
Which configuration should we compare?
Compare WM-686 for single-sided heating and WM-687 for double-sided heating. The WM-688 has an English printed control panel and an optional supply configuration.
What is included in the electrical and spare-parts confirmation?
We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual. For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
Can we see our own assembly processed?
Send the sleeve material, starting and recovered diameters, sleeve length, complete part dimensions and expected batch volume. We film a trial and show the heated assembly before you confirm the machine.
