Electric Hot-Air Heat Shrink Station for Sleeves up to Ø45 mm WM-684
Our WM-684 heats pre-positioned sleeves with a resistance heater and an adjustable built-in blower. The specified sleeve diameter is 0–45 mm, airflow is 580 L/min and the temperature setting is 0–450 °C. Sensor, foot-pedal and timed operation support repeated bench jobs. We test the sleeve, joint and cable assembly to set the heating time and nozzle arrangement.

Common site supplies are 120 V, 60 Hz with grounded Type B outlets in the US and Canada, with 208 V or 240 V also found at industrial sites. The UK and Ireland use 230 V, 50 Hz with Type G. Australia and New Zealand use nominal 230 V, 50 Hz with Type I, and some Australian sites list 240 V. Three-phase installations in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand commonly use 400 V at 50 Hz, with 415 V at some Australian sites. |

Key features
- Bring hot air to sleeves up to Ø45 mm while the operator presents each assembly to the heating outlet.
- Adjust the 580 L/min airflow and heating time to the sleeve and cable for a repeatable bench heating procedure.
- Use sensor, foot-pedal or timed operation to suit how parts are presented at the workstation.
- We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual.
- For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
What it processes
- Heat shrinking pre-positioned insulation sleeves on prepared wire ends
- Repeated bench heating of cable joints and terminal assemblies
- Local sleeve recovery during wire-harness assembly
The WM-684 suits a bench process in which an operator presents a prepared cable end to a fixed hot-air outlet. The heater and blower deliver the heating cycle while the selected sensor, pedal or timed mode controls the start.
Send a complete sample with the sleeve already positioned and identify nearby connector plastics or insulation that need protection. We record the outlet setup, heat setting and cycle time, then show the recovered sleeve and the surrounding assembly. For a WM-684 quote, share the sleeve size and the approximate dimensions of the part it covers. We'll check which configuration fits your assembly.

WM-684 — common questions
How do we select the nozzle and heating length?
Send the sleeve diameter, sleeve length and the cable or connector around it. The outlet geometry and heating time are matched to that assembly. We show sleeve recovery and the surrounding insulation during the sample trial.
Does it require a compressed-air connection?
The electric hot-air station uses its built-in blower. We confirm the electrical supply and the selected outlet arrangement on the quote.
How do the bench stations differ?
For sleeves up to Ø45 mm, see WM-684. The WM-682 uses 335 L/min airflow, while WM-683 specifies 580 L/min with the same 0–30 mm diameter range.
How do we verify production output?
We time a trial with your assembly and operator loading method. Heating time, sleeve material and handling determine the completed-piece rate.
What comes with the quote?
We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual. For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
