Semi-Automatic Toroidal Coil Winding Machine for Magnetic Ring Cores WM-9319
The WM-9319 winds magnet wire onto closed toroidal (ring) cores — the ring-core inductors, common-mode chokes, current transformers and small toroidal transformers that go inside a power supply, not onto finished cable. It takes wire from 0.05 to 0.25 mm, cores from 13 × 7 × 4 mm up to 20 × 16 × 7.5 mm, and 50 to 3,000 turns per program, with 1,000 job memories on an English-labelled controller. Wire storage rings of 2.0 to 6.0 mm width are interchangeable on the same machine, trading wire capacity against the smallest core hole the shuttle can pass through.

Suited for: magnetic component production — winding 0.05–0.25 mm magnet wire onto closed ring cores from 13 × 7 × 4 mm to 20 × 16 × 7.5 mm, 50 to 3,000 turns per coil.
Not suited for: finished cable, power cords or extension leads. This is a component winder for transformer and inductor shops, not a cable coiler — the coil it produces is the part, not a packaged length of cable. WM-9319 — common questions
Does the WM-9319 wind bobbins or ring cores?
Ring cores only. It is a toroidal winder — wire is loaded onto a split storage ring that threads through the hole of a closed core, then rotates to lay turns around the ring. It is not a flyer or spindle winder for E-core and EI transformer bobbins, and it does not wind onto plastic bobbins at all. If bobbin winding is what you need, that is the WM-9324 automatic magnet wire coil winding machine — a spindle winder for bobbins, tube formers and mandrels, 0.05–0.8 mm wire across a 420 mm winding width up to 80 mm winding diameter.
How are core sizes specified, and will my core fit?
The source datasheet gives the core range as three dimensions, from 13 × 7 × 4 mm up to 20 × 16 × 7.5 mm, and separately gives the storage ring width as 2.0 – 6.0 mm. In practice the core's inner hole and the storage ring you fit decide whether the core can be threaded and how much wire the machine holds per load. Send us the core drawing, wire gauge and turn count and we will confirm the ring width before quoting.
How many coils per hour will it produce?
We do not publish a figure, because the source datasheet does not. It gives a speed setting range of 0 – 2,800 without a unit and no pieces-per-hour rating. Real output on a toroidal winder depends almost entirely on turns per core, wire size and reload time for the storage ring, so a generic number would be misleading. Send cores and wire and we will run a timed trial and send you the video with the actual cycle time.
What if my magnet wire is thicker than 0.25 mm?
It is outside this machine's range — the head, storage ring and tension system are built for 0.05 – 0.25 mm wire, and forcing heavier wire will not work. Tell us the wire diameter, core size and turn count and we will source a larger-wire toroidal winder through custom machine sourcing. Note that for cutting and enamel-stripping heavier magnet wire in the 0.7 – 3.0 mm range, we already stock the WM-184 enamelled wire cutting and paint stripping machine — that is lead preparation, not winding.
