Rotary Blade Cutting and Stripping Machine for Braided and Shielded Cable WM-184X
The WM-184X cuts and strips shielded, braided and multi-layer cable from 0.75 to 30 mm² (up to Φ18 mm) using a rotary blade head with 2 or 4 circling cutters — the clean way to open a jacket and score a copper braid without nicking the cores underneath. Each layer is programmed separately on the 7-inch touchscreen with full or half strip, up to 1,500 mm half-strip on side A. Sixteen belt-drive wheels feed the cable without marking it, holding 0.002×L length tolerance at up to 1,500 pieces per hour.

Suited for: braided and shielded cable from 0.75 to 30 mm² (up to Φ18 mm OD) where the shield layer must be opened cleanly — EV and energy-storage signal cable, screened control cable, multi-layer jacketed wire. WM-184X — common questions
How does rotary stripping differ from a standard cut and strip machine?
A standard machine draws a fixed V-blade along the cable, which works on plain insulation but tears braided shields and can nick cores. The WM-184X spins 2 or 4 blades around the cable at a programmed depth, so the jacket or braid is scored evenly around its full circumference before it is pulled off — clean edges on every layer.
Can it leave the braid on the cable instead of removing it?
Yes. Half strip mode scores the layer and slides it forward without pulling it off — up to 1,500 mm on side A and 300 mm on side B. Operators use this to keep the shield captive for fold-back grounding or to protect cores during transport between stations.
What is it not built for?
