Automatic Multicore Cable Cutting Stripping and Two-End Tinning Machine WM-4706S

CE Certified HS Code 8463.90 Cable OD <8 mm

The WM-4706S automatically cuts multicore sheathed cable, strips both ends and tins the conductors at both ends. It accepts cable under Ø8 mm, with front stripping up to 60 mm and rear stripping up to 40 mm.

Key features

  • Cuts multicore sheathed cable and prepares tinned conductors at both ends
  • Accepts cable below 8 mm outside diameter
  • Sets different front and rear stripping limits for asymmetric cable ends
  • Uses dual processing sections for two-end production in one line
  • Keeps the public specification focused on verified functions without adding an unsupported output claim

What it processes

  • Multicore appliance and control cable with tinned conductors at both ends
  • Sheathed cable leads prepared for soldered switches, boards or terminal blocks
  • Repetitive two-end cable sets with different front and rear fan-out lengths
  • Production where jacketed cable must be cut and finished without separate tinning stations

Suited for: multicore sheathed cable below Ø8 mm that must be cut, stripped and tinned at both ends in one line. Not suited for: several independent loose wires — use the WM-4706W — or a specifically three-core round/flat cable process with stated splitting and twisting, where the WM-4710T is the closer fit.

Front and rear preparation are not forced to be identical. The source lists front stripping below 60 mm and rear stripping below 40 mm, which supports cable sets with different connection geometry at each end. The precise jacket removal and conductor exposure still come from the buyer’s drawing and sample.

No production rate is published for this configuration, so capacity is deliberately left blank. The acceptance trial records the actual cable construction, length, conductor count and two-end result. If your downstream operation also includes terminal crimping, review the WM-462 tinning and crimping machine rather than assuming this tin-only line includes a press.

WM-4706S — common questions

What cable size can the WM-4706S accept?

The published limit is cable outside diameter below 8 mm. Diameter alone is not enough for tooling approval, so provide the jacket material, conductor count, core insulation and a physical sample.

Does this machine twist the conductors before tinning?

The verified source describes cutting, stripping and two-end tinning but does not explicitly state a twisting function. We do not promise twisting until the required strand finish is confirmed in a sample trial.

How does it differ from WM-4710T and WM-4706W?

The WM-4710T is specifically positioned for three-core round or flat cable with core splitting and twisting. The WM-4706W feeds up to ten independent loose wires. The WM-4706S is the general multicore sheathed-cable option for two-end tinning below Ø8 mm.

What should the end drawing include?

Show overall cut length, jacket removal on both ends, conductor fan-out, insulation strip length, required tin length and any untinned transition. Send 2–3 meters of cable and the target batch size for a recorded setup trial.
